According to the “Seismic Needle Inspection Actâ€, it is necessary to inspect needles for all textiles entering Japan. Products containing ferromagnetic metal components exceeding certain levels cannot be tested by a needle detector. Needle testing equipment actually uses the principle of electromagnetic field. If there is a small iron broken needle in the textile, as soon as the product passes the machine, the needle detector will emit a chirp, indicating that it does not pass.
The standard iron ball is used as the standard reference for testing in the world. Corresponding needle detection levels are as follows (taking the nine-point test method (channel type needle detector) as an example):
1. Can detect 1.2mm diameter iron ball test card, indicating that the needle detector is six (that is, meet the six-level needle standard);
2. Can detect a 1.0mm diameter iron ball test card, indicating that the needle detector is octave (that is, meet the octave needle standard);
3. Can detect 0.8mm diameter iron ball test card, indicating that the needle detector is ten (that is, meet the ten-level needle standard);
In addition, platform needle detectors and portable needle detectors for spot checks are usually used (because nine-point tests cannot be performed, the test results are for reference only and cannot be used as a result of large-volume batch inspection standards), and they can be detected at the most recent position on the detection surface. To 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm iron ball (depending on the distance, the closer to the product the higher the sensitivity).
The reliability of the raw materials of the cloth buttons through the needle detector is: plastic, copper, aluminum (any iron material can not pass the inspection needle), and the button diameter is due to the fact that some or all of the cloth button products use aluminum. More than 18MM need to pass the test needle six (or more) unstable, the smaller the button, the higher the needle detector level. We recommend using a plastic base with aluminum or copper surfaces, followed by a copper base with an aluminum or copper surface.
